John K. Scott
John has been practicing real estate law for his entire career. He entered the profession in Missouri, where he gained extensive knowledge in homeowner association and condominium law by helping clients with collection matters, governing document interpretation and drafting, and general litigation. John is also a licensed real estate agent.
Having worked for large and small firms alike, John brings a client-focused approach to effectuate the needs of his clients in the most efficient way possible.
John graduated with his B.A. in political science and criminal justice at Loyola University – Chicago and received his J.D. from Saint Louis University. Drawing on his many experiences and travels, John prides himself on his ability to communicate with clients from all walks of life, as he knows the legal process is as much about the person as it is the legal issues.
Confronted with many types of real estate disputes in his career, John uses his background and training to confidently represent his clients in the courtroom and through all aspects of litigation, including drafting legal documents and negotiating with opposing counsel.
He also understands the importance of presenting complex legal issues to his clients in a way in which everyone understands and feels like a valued part of the legal process.
John also has experience handling personal injury, civil, and general business-related matters. In his free time, John enjoys baseball, hiking, and attending concerts.
