Originally from Puerto Rico, she studied respiratory therapy there before entering the legal field. She began her legal career in 2018 as a legal assistant, later earning her paralegal certification through Ashworth College. Prior to joining the firm, Jeannette built a broad civil litigation foundation handling matters in bankruptcy, labor and employment, personal injury, and workers’ compensation law.

At Zimmer & Rens, Jeannette applies this comprehensive experience to navigate complex civil litigation and procedures smoothly. Her detailed insight into the lifecycle of a case allows her to anticipate client questions, keep matters on track, and ensure a seamless experience from initial intake through resolution. Fluent in Spanish and English, she is also able to communicate directly with a broader range of clients, helping them feel informed and comfortable at every stage of their matter.

Outside of her professional work, Jeannette enjoys spending time at the lake with her son, taking on DIY projects, and attending live music concerts.
