Katherine Villanueva
Katherine is a recent graduate of Harvard University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a secondary in Ethnicity, Migration, and Rights. Drawing from both her personal and academic background, she is passionate about immigrant rights and supporting immigrant communities.
Her work brings together research, advocacy, community engagement, and legal services. She has worked across nonprofit, legal, and academic settings in both the United States and Mexico, supporting research, community outreach, and public engagement.
She enjoys working with Spanish-speaking clients and is committed to making legal processes more accessible and welcoming.
Katherine plans to pursue a J.D. while continuing to conduct research. She hopes to build a career in public interest law, with a particular interest in immigration and human rights, that combines legal advocacy, scholarship, and public service.
Outside of her professional and academic interests, Katherine enjoys dancing, going on walks, and traveling.
